Thread: Need help with choosing colours!!!

Hey girls!

For an upcoming gig, I need a harem pants, coin hip scarf and top to match this skirt :


the colour has to be contrasting to the one of the skirt...
Any ideas?
I though of purple, but I don't know if that is enough contrast?
and maybe navy or royal blue? or is that too dark?
fushia pink? but is that enough contrast?
(links to shops where I can find things like this are also appreciated...)

Turquoise! I love turquoise + crimson

Mustard yellow! (or orange)

A light teal or turquoise would be a good contrast. If you look on the color wheel, the most contrast for that color would be green... I'd go with a light green or light olive green if you want to do green. But I think the light teal would look best.

Orange/Mango accents here and there would be nice too.

for stage, something lighter and brighter than the skirt. yellows, oranges, golds.

What about Pistachio, lime green or olive :) Can you tell I love green :)

this is easy (for me) since I immediately saw some of my favorite color mixes as options here...

my preference would be navy, lime green, and olive green (in that order). Post pix whatever you decide!

I love the idea of a vibrant mango colour with that skirt, but in terms of practicality (finding three matching items) you may do better with pink or turquoise.

Do you use UK eBay? (I ask because i think I may own that skirt in orange- they're really good quality) If so then you may have luck with this seller

Choli and pants

I've bought chiffon skirts from them before and they're good quality and fairly fast shipping. Plus they appear to have every possible clothing and colour combination known to man.

I'm backing the greens, especially those with golden tones... (think olive, pistachio etc)

Well some of my troupe mates already use yellow, light purple, dark purple, light blue, light green.

So I think I'm gonna go with orange!
The skirt is actually a tat darker in real life, so bright orange might bright it up, while navy blue (which was my first choice actually) might make the whole thing too dark... And the rest of the troupe also uses bright colours, so...
I'll post pictures once I find everything!
