Thread: Magnifying glass in reverse?

Does anyone know or has anyone seen a reverse type magnifying glass (demagnifying glass?)? I'm not sure what to call it officially which is why I can't seem to find anything.

I'd like to use it when i'm doing beadwork so I don't have to go across the room to see how it looks from afar.

I have heard it called a de-magnifier, but I don't own one and haven't tried searching either so I don't know if that is the name in the stores.

Do you own a pair of binoculars? looking through the wrong end of binos will demagnify what ever you are looking at.

Wow, I have never heard of this.
I always put my work on a mannequin, and lit it up with different lighting to check my work at a distance.
How will seeing the work smaller help?
I'm NOT mocking, because I'm new to this!!!
I always judged my work with the lighting, and I don't have formal teaching on beading etc.
