How does Bellydancestore measure their dress lengths?

I am in a quandry. I have found a dress that I DEARLY love on the bellydance store site but I'm afraid it might be too short. Does anyone know how they measure them? Their website was a bit vague in that. Do they measure from the top of the bra cup or do they include the length of the halter straps in their measurements?

I'd recommend calling or emailing them directly about the dress you like. They are generally very good about checking and answering questions on specific items to help you decide.

Hi Jaina, I asked that question once and this is what they said, "We measure the dresses from the top of the cup to the bottom. Hope this works!"

    Which dress is it? ;)

(I answered your Facebook message, but figured the info might help others as well)
    Yes, exactly what Andalee said.
Dresses with built in bras are measured from the top of the cup (at center of one cup, where it goes over the bust point), all the way down to the hem.
Dresses without built in bras are usually measured from the shoulder down to the bottom.
If a dress has a crazy asymmetrical design it's best to call to double check.
