    Turning a veil into sleeves?

I would like to turn a couple of my veils from skirt/veil combos into sleeves. One is a rectangular veil with sequined edging, the other is a half circle with paillette edging. Does anyone have any advice regarding how to proceed? I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!

What kind of sleeves are you after? The drapey ones that are attached to an upper arm cuff? A "shrug" type top?

For the rectangular set, I would love drapey sleeves off a cuff. For the half circle, i would like puffy sleeves that go from upper arm to wrist with elastic at both ends. Both veils are chiffon, by the way.

The drapey ones I've seen are a square of the fabric, with one corner cut at one end of the diamond to form the bit that attaches the the cuff and goes around your arm.

The puffy ones are just a square or rectangle of fabric sewn together at one edge to form a cylinder, with elastic in a casing at each end.

Does that make sense? I can try to draw a picture if that would be easier

And you just tie off the sequins you cut through? I think it makes sense...thank you so much!

if you can't tie them off, then backtrack about 5-10 sequins (depending on design) and hand stitch them down. the rest will be fine.
