Thread: ISO: Someone to make my bra larger!

Hey All! I have a beautiful costume that I love, but the bra cups are too small. I just don't have the time and talent to make it bigger myself. I could probably figure it out, but with a toddler at home, it's not going to get done.
Should I try a seamstress?
I thought there was a buzzer who undertook projects like this, but I do not remember who.
How much $$ would something like this normally cost?

Lesedi does that kind of thing and would probably be happy to help you. She's fast and charges very reasonable rates.

Barring that, Anala is a great resource of knowledge for alterations as are Eshta and Andalee if you'd like to try it yourself. I'm sure there are others, that's who I could recall from the top of my head!

It would be really helpful if you had a headband or a couple of wrist bands to sacrifice...finding matching fabric and embellishments can be difficult.

Another thought is maybe the fit isn't as bad as you think and your straps just need adjustment.

Or........a sheer bodysuit that matches your costume can be a lovely vintage look if you end up keeping your costume as is.

i do alot of this..you need to get a fredericks bra , BACK closing.."extreem clevege"the smae color as your costume..you can mount the cups to it,.we cut the backs off, add straps..lots of frey check if it is from turkey etc.
