    Cartwright Sequins

Repeat customer for this company, however recently encountered an unpleasant experience.

Ordered 6mm gold from Cartright's and 6mm from Sparklehaven in pink. Received both products and began sewing the belt. Couldn't figure out why my bead line wouldn't straighten.

Then realized Cartrights sequins aren't 6mm, they are 7mm. Doesn't seem like much of a difference, but it is.

Wrote to Cartwrights expressing my disappointment. Including photos of a newly opened bag of sequins, placing a sequin on top of the mm measuring tape. However, since their product has been used there isn't much they are willing to do about it. (Responding I was their first complaint.)

An apology and a recheck of the quality of their product would have been nice.

So, just an FYI~ don't make the same mistake I did. Even if the bag says 6mm, get out the measuring tape and prove it.

    Re: Cartwright Sequins

That is to bad. I have always had good experiences when ordering from them.

It seems like it wouldn't be that much $ for them to ship you a packet of the correct size. Or if they wanted the other back they should offer to pay the shipping to return it. Probably the shipping costs as much as the sequins if you only ordered to colors so since they made a mistake it would make sense for them to replace with the right size.

Any of those options would have been nice. Apologizing costs nothing, I would have been happy with that. Nope, according to them, their product is fine. A regular customer for several years, but after re-reading their rude response, never again.
