Talking Opinion on Costume Coloring for a pale skinned girl

    Hi everyone,

I wanted to know what your opinion would be for a costume color for some one really pale skinned, light brown hair, and brown eyes, under stage lighting (that would be me) hehehe! I've gone back and forth and can't decide! What's your opinion? Thanks in advance!

Salome has light brown hair, pale skin, but blue eyes. Here are some photos and videos of her:

I think with the right make up you can wear almost any color you like on a stage with good lighting.

    Thanks sooo much!!

It's funny, I was actually considering getting blue contacts.

I found this white crystal bella costume that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE but I wasn't sure about it with my skin tone hahaha

I'm fair skinned (pink undertones) with light brown hair and green eyes. I can pretty much wear any colour, except for a lot of silver. It has been the only colour thus far that hasn't looked so good, in my opinion anyway. My favourite colours to wear though are baby pink, red, ivory, orange, yellow and turquoise:)

I'm very pale- my friends call me insta-tan- anyone that stands next to me automatically looks tan!
My hair is very dark naturally and I highlight it with red tones as I have found that with stage lights, pale skin and dark hair, my hair tends to blend into the background. I can pretty much handle any color. Golds and Silvers seem to be the only ones that are difficult- they have to be just the right tone or balanced against another color.
Feel free to check out my website, plenty of colors there!

Turquoise is a pretty safe bet to make you look vibrant. However, although it seems almost in the same color family, with your light skin and light brown hair, I would stay away from most shades of teal as it can really wash some pale skin tones out (unless you're able to see the shade in person and it works for you).

LOL I am shocked that no one has called me insta-tan!!! I've always known I can't wear gold! I can sometimes pull off silver but it depends! Check out your website, loved it :)

thanks deborah. Jewel tones tend to work the best for me. But the ladies are right about teal- it can be tricky, there's teal green, teal blue, blue green. that's why i'm upset about selling my jade sahar, the color is just amaaaaaaaaaazing on pale skin. sigh. but there are other costumes out there. ;-)

Oh I can imagine a jade green working! The fact that there's other costumes out is the only thing that I believe justifies selling a beautiful costume like that!
