Thread: where does Didem get her awesome shoes from?

we all know her kick-ass costumes are by Bella, but what about the shoes? Anyone know of any sources of where to get this style or what it's called?



I'm not sure my big legs could pull off that exact style (with the strap across the ankle) but something similar would be nice :) suggestions? tips?

They could just be regular street shoes.

But I know of at least one dancer who orders shoes from the same shoe maker who makes my tango shoes in Istanbul.
His name is Necmi Usta and he is quite well known in the tango scene, I have 10 pairs of tango shoes from him (shoes are a tango dancer's hip scarves....).

He can make any model in any color. But you have to go there in person to order, no English spoken (but there are often people in the shop who can speak English).

thank you! I was wondering if they were special made shoes for dancing or just regular heels.. I tried looking under latin and ballroom shoes but no luck, they didn't have the same look

Not Didems shoes, but Soñar con los Pies here in Sevilla has gourgeous shoes for salsa, tango and ballroom.

I haven't ordered from them personally but many local salsa and tango dancers use their shoes.

I don't know about Didem's shoes, but I know these shoes are amaaaaaaaaaaazing. I used to dance with them (so did my boyfriend), they are hand made and affordable for this kind of quality... Every tango dancer should own one pair ... For me, Darcos are to tango what Bellas are to belly dance.

If sparkling costumea are a reason to bellydance, then SHOES are clearly a reason to dance tango!!!!
