Hey girls
We're probably getting Great Loops with our troupe but my mom is making me feel self-conscious....
I was really happy to get Great Loops as I really like'em, but I'm starting to doubt.
Do Great Loops look good on big breasted women?
I'm a 34DD/36E (95E EU size)

I have had 3 sets of the GL costumes & I love them! I wear a pharonics sz 7 bra which is an E cup and I think they look just fine on a girl w/ boobs...

That's one of the things I love about Great Loops and why they make such a nice troupe costume. They universally flatter almost anyone. Skinny, curvy, full figured, hourglass, athletic, all look good in a great loop in my opinion.

I'm the same size and my troupemates told me never to sell that one - that it was the best one yet! I wouldn't mid shortening the loops eventually since I'm a bit shortwaisted but overall I think it's very flattering and classy.

Where do you guys order your GL's from?? Bellydance Store doesn't seem to have all that much selection. Do you just go through Pharonics?

I have both ordered directly from Amira & ordered from the belly dance store. Either option works just fine. I did just place an order while I was in Egypt & will have them shipped to me (but warning shipping from Cairo can be high).

On a different note, I have a couple of pharonics I'm thinking of selling - how small are your hips?

I thought my set made me look smaller on top than I am.

troupe director here... still doubting. though andalees pictures look GREAT.

im' doubting between this one and a couple of other pharaonix sets. but i think this one comes in the most different colours, they have some second hand options, it works with many different skirts etc...

but i reallly like some of the other pharaonix sets for troupes also.. aargh, difficult.

Could be just my body shape but i tried one on and the curve underneath of the beads made my biggie boobs look like they were drooping

Oooh don't know how I missed this...I have a 37 upper hip and a 41 lower...

YES! I m a 38DD and 41 inch hip and it looks great on me. I don't have a pic to upload on here but if you friend me on facebook theres a few on there :) THe best thing about the bra is that it coveres enough yet holds you completely in place with no bounce!

In this troupe photo, most of us are wearing the GL. We range in size from (guessing) about a 32B to a 38E. Everybody looks and feels well-fitted, well-flattered, and glamorous, and we get lots of compliments!

I believe I am a 7 in Pharonix but I don't know for sure as I don't have a set from them. :D

@Starmouth - I purchased this second hand here on Bhuz back in 2008 & I can't find the info on it. I've since sold the set too so I can't measure.

I'm a 38DD with a 42" hip. We should keep each other in minf when selling costumes.

I have 2 GL (1 gold, 1 black) and love them! They are comfy, flattering and classy. I always get tons of compliments on them.

I'm a 34 DD and I love the design of the GL. I think it actually helps de-emphasize a large bust because it offers better coverage.
