Would I need maybe 4 hanks or so of beads? I'm horrid at gauging amounts of things I can't find any of this color at Cartwrights.

Can't help with the colour, the monitor won't be accurate enough, but different shades usually look all right, if you use two or three.

Are you doing all the beading with seed beads? Lots of work!
The best way to find out how many you need, is weigh a heavy beaded costume, and what it weighs, that's how many you'll need!
I've used up to a Kilo (2.2lbs) in past costumes, but I tend to use sequin areas in there too, now.
You will have to buy by the weight, different companies 'Hank" size, can be radically different. Ask the weight, before you buy!
