Thread: Help! I need to change/replace a bra band??

Hi Ladies, I also have this is the ISO forum but no one has replied. Maybe it should go in "costuming"?

I just bought a costume that I need to change out the bra band. I do not know how to do this and although I'd like to learn, do not have the time.

Does anyone know where I can buy pre-made bands? OR
Would anyone be willing to make them for me?

width 2" 6/8"

length ~38"?

currently the band has 2 thinner bands on top and bottom, I would like 1 thick band instead.

If you buy buckram and cut it out to the shape of the two bands you can simply cover it in like styled fabric and then stitch the existing bands to the covered buckram for an instant decorated look.

Thanks Chica. If you ever have the time, I need to come over (or vice versa) so you can show me some of this stuff, I learn so much better by seeing.
