Thread: Is your bra horny?

So I just got this bra and belt set that is a true DD. The problem was the cups turned up at the area of the connection to the halter straps (the very outside top edge) creating two "horns" that were poking up into the armpits in a very uncomfortable manner. I took off the straps opened the lining and took off a 5 inch section of the edge beading. I used a pair of cuticle scissors to pick the machine sewn thread that held the thin lycra bra covering as it folded back into the bra cup to expose the hard cup material. I trimmed off the offending horns (about 1 and a half inches) and resewed the lycra by hand. Now I will re bead the edging and sew the straps on, a bit closer to the center of the cup as they were set very wide. This will also cause the cups to be tighter to my upper chest making the cups more supportive. Just moving the straps would have done that trick, but left the edge of the bra with two odd and useless projectiles poking into the pit area.

This is one of the reasons I am hesitant to buy a #6 Pharonics bra cup, which is supposed to be the one which fits me best. In my experience, 4's and 5's fit, depending on the shape, and there is less being poked under the arm.

;-) But there are many of us who need the size, but the bras should get deeper...not wider. I need an 8x8 not a 7x10. and I dont want my boobs to slide forward into a cup ravine and look like a steep California hill side that has had a hard rain fall on it. Boobalanche ... a new bhuz term is born.

Okay being a newbie to this site what is the bra cup numbers (ie. Pharaonics bra cup #6 in this post) everyone refers to? And how does one know what cup size they are?

#2 (A) - h 6" v 5.5" d 7"
#3 (B) - h 6.5" v 6" d 7.5"
#4 (C) - h 7" v 6.5" d 8"
#5 (D) - h 7.5" v 7" d 8.5"
#6 (D) - h 8" v 7" d 9"
#7 (DD) - h 8.5" v 7.25" d 9.5"

# 7 will fit me just fine if the top of the cup was as wide as the bottom. The band needs to also be wide where it joins to the side of the cup. Dont make the cup so wide at the top that it wraps into my pit area... and then this skinny little band allows my side boobage to make me look like I had a litter of puppies ... jeez!

The Pharonics cup numbers are based on a commercial 36 band. So many people who have a smaller rib cage can slide up. I wear a commercial 34dd / ddd. Sometimes a G. But I can wear a 4 with mega cleavage. But it also depends on the shape of the cups which changes from time to time.

The best cup shape for me is a D with the flat part of the D at the top. You just dont see those very often. The tear drop shape allows the boobalanche.

Yep- some of us just don't need the push up/push in effect. Part of that whole off the rack, must "fit" as many people as possible mentality.

I had encountered the same problem. Not too good experience for sure.

Love it Anala! Bhuzzers against boobalanches...it just has that ring.

I can't wear pharonics. I give up. Homemade or bellas. I'm a #7 too and have the same issue.

Bwhahahahahahhaa!! I almost snorted out my coffee!!!

I used to avoid Pharonics like the plague because of the cup fit. It also made my rib cage look wider my compressing my boobs and forcing them sideways (pancake). I've since found better fit with them, thank God!

I have a LOT of $$$ trial/errors with Boobalanche! I plead that I "fell in love" with the costume, but it seems unfair to my D/DD girls that they suddenly become contortionists.

It's my inner B cup trying to surface.

Never tried Hanan to date (just never found one that inspired me yet), but I saw a few others who had Pharonics fit issues.

This exactly! Perfect description Anala. Flat part of a D upward is the answer to boobalanche. I have had to reshape most of my costumes to this configuration by taking the connector between cups apart. The new angle also lowers the "horny" part out of the armpits.

sigh this makes me worried about the custome pharonics i just ordered. i put 38DD cuz i know they tend to make the cups smaller then u need sometimes.

i hope i dont have boobalanche issues :(. i too like deeper
