Thread: What color skirt?? PICS ADDED!

What color would look good with a red and gold crocheted bra and belt (Pharaonics of Egypt)? It has a very vintage vibe going on and I totally suck at matching stuff up. It's a fire engine red.

I took a sample of weird velvet to the fabric store .... it's a deep slate blue fuzzy with nude tone underneath. I walked around like an idiot with this little swatch of fabric, but I found the perfect match. (something I never would have picked otherwise)

I picture a nude/shimmery chiffon in like a medium rich golden tone. I think that red on red could be a lil too much red, depending on how the bedlah looks (pics would be helpful). I've also seen cream look lovely and vintage with that color combo... i think if you are willing to take a risk, fuschia or purple looks soooo dynamic with red... but again, depends on the overall aesthetic of the bedlah. post pix!!! excited to see!
