Thread: Color match idea I saw on the Swap Meet....awesome!

Since monitors vary and people's descriptions of colors can too why don't we steal an idea I just saw on the Swap Meet?

Yolanda used Crayola crayons to illustrate the colors of the items she has for sale.

Maybe we all could buy a box of Crayolas or some enterprising bellydancer or costume designer could invent a color palette.

It would make color matching soooo much easier!

GREAT idea!Colors can look so different in different lights,with flash on etc...will use next time I put anything up:)

Other choices, for those who are not that active on the swap meet, include simple household items - shampoo bottles, boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese etc. as "standards" to give the buyer an idea of how the colors may be off through light, camera or monitor effects.

Mac n' Cheese box blue...Garnier Fructis shampoo bottle green...Folgers coffee can red...Sunlight dish detergent bottle yellow...

The possibilities are endless!
