Have any of you taken the cross/flower thing off of these Pharaonics costumes?
Have any of you taken the cross/flower thing off of these Pharaonics costumes? Or peeked underneath? I'm really curious what these sets would look like without that accent on the bra and belt. Can they just be removed?

Nobody? Nobody has even taken a peek behind that flower?

I appreciate the effort.
Unfortunately it doesn't tell me if there is actually beading behind those flower cross things. It only tells me that if it is there it would probably look like this. Unless this is your rendition of what is actually behind there based on your insider knowledge?
Perhaps I need to be more specific. Is the beading continued behind those appliques such that I could take them off and and not have to fill in or cover any potential gap left behind? Is it an easy pop off the appliques and go? Or is it, remove and have a bunch of work ahead attempting to match the beading and fill the space?Shems - www.shemsdance.com

Maybe you could use the beads etc from the matching cuffs and head piece to fill it in?

The flowers are tacked down really well (not surprising) so it's difficult to tell for sure... BUT it appears the beading goes all the way through from trying to peek as well as from feel on the belt.

Thank you Almee for posting that, even if this is what "we" are thinking it may look like, I've considered removing mine more than once and I think I actually like it better with them on

Thanks Samira

Re: Have any of you taken the cross/flower thing off of these Pharaonics costumes?
I have this Pharonics costume in silver and like it with "flowers" on bra between cups and on front of belt. However, I just purchased it in gold and DO NOT like the flowers on this gold set - seems just too much - maybe becuase the silver needed the extra "blingyness" but it's over the top in the gold set.
So, I am taking off the flowers the gold set and will reattach just the AB sew-on jewels from the flowers in their place so it won't look too plain. The flowers are just tacked on and beading does go all the way underneath, but if there is a "blank spot" in beaded base I will use beaded cuffs to fill in. Thanks to the poster who came up with that one!
.
It's interesting that the same costume design can look very different in a different color - I have an emerald/lime green and gold "Enchantment" Pharonics set and the exact same set in white beads with AB jewels and AB white sequin base - totally different looks.

I purchased a pharonics from SaNoora here on Bhuz and removed the front piece and it was completely beaded under... its not the same as that costume though
the applique used to be all the way over by the big gold tear drop bead on the inside of the swirl at the top.
