Thread: Ansuya type headpieces?

You know all those elaborate headpieces and hair bands and headdresses that Ansuya wears? Have any of you made any? Or know where to get something similar? Even just a base to start from and decorate? I don't know how they look under her hair to make a guess how they're constructed there and how they stay on so well with her head tosses. I am looking for ideas for buying, making, and wearing them. Thanks!

I´ve seen everything from a thin rectangle,to those curved around the head much like an egyptian style "cup"belt...most have elastic in the back to hold them in place.

Would be very interested to see pictures of different styles,because the "standard"turban wrap headpieces doesn´t appeal so much to me.
