Thread: Pharaonics of Egypt Icicles - Owners- what do you think?

OK, at first, I really didn't like the fringe coming off the side of the bra. But the more I look at it, the more this set is growing on me. I love, love, love the shape of the belt, and I prefer the beading to the "Straps."

But, I have read a couple of threads here on Bhuz where people have bought this set and were unhappy with the bra. I am between a 36C and 36D, and am planning on buying a #4. Bellydancestore has one that would fit me perfectly, and I have enough $$$ saved for it. However, if the shape of the bra isn't good...

So I'm asking, honestly- those of you who have this set...what do you think of it?

Hey Amara! I have this set and love it - it is so perfect for bellygrams and other times you have to look super belly dancer-y.

I bought mine from BD store in a #4 and it fits great. I'm just about the same size as you (38 C or D). Also, if it doesn't fit, you can return within the week for a refund, which is really nice. LOVE LOVE LOVE mine and I am very picky. I bought my Teal from Tanya LV. I never liked the way they looked in the photos, I also thought the stuff hanging off the bra was tacky. But when I saw this Teal I thought it was worth a try. It was so awesome when I got it in my hands, the icicles are made of rhinestones and adds such an elegant touch. I have owned and worn GL and love those too but I am now a BIG fan of the Icicles and almost prefer them over GL these days!!. Good luck ! PS, I am 36D/38C and the #5 works well for me.

I hated mine. It looked like a madonna 80s cone bra from the side (im a 38 D/DD) not to mention i got mine "custom" sized and it was wayyyyyy to large (the belt and the straps not the cups that football shape sucks). the cone ness isnt so noticeable on smaller chests. im not sure how it would be on a mid size one (which is where i consider your measurments personally)

Thanks for the thoughts, ladies! I'm seriously considering this, but am going to think about it for at least a day or so. It wouldn't be a special order, so it would be returnable. However, if I can avoid paying $30-40 in shipping (total both ways), that would be nice.

Any others have this? I'd love to hear your opinions on the set!

I had one briefly before I sent it back - similar story to Callistaangel, but it was too small. The football shape did nothing for me, especially as it wasn't disguised by fringe like it is on the Great Loops. The belt is gorgeous though!

a note on the boob fringe...you can just take it off..my friend did that w hers and it looks fine.

and while the football shape sucked i had a huger issue w the madonna coneness and it wasnt fixable (despite what dahlal said) cuz its how it was built -.-. id deff get a returnable one.

i customed mine because the BD store one was too big everywhere else for my cup size but the one they (dahlal) ended up sending me from pharonics was the same sizing as the one of the BD store...just ugh!
