Thread: LHC Bhuzzers - Hoping you can help me

I decided a few months ago to try to grow out my previously mid-neck length (and terribly layered) hair style. I discovered the Long Hair Community forum through a few threads here at Bhuz. I lurked over there for a couple weeks, reading & learning a lot (have acquired a new addiction to hair toys in the process ).

I finally decided to register because there was a thread I wanted to respond to and I also had a question I wanted to ask of the beautiful hair people. However, since registering I am now completely unable to access any part of the site while logged in. I can view anything on the site as "unregistered" but as soon as I log in I receive the message that I don't have permission to view the page. And this is for ANY page. I tried sending an email to the address that shows when I hover over the "contact us" link (clicking on it does nothing), but that was well over a week ago & still no response.

I'm beginning to feel like maybe LHC is like Bella's website.... you have to be one of the few lucky souls that Fate smiles upon in order to gain access - LOL! I did respond to the activation email that was sent when I first registered. I'm hoping fellow LHC Bhuzzers might know if there is anything else I need to do to join, because I'd really like some advice & support while struggling through this awkward growing out phase.

because i have the same issue! :)

When you first go to the page- instead of immeditately logging in, in the upper right hand corner, click on where it says "HOME" under the title block.

Try logging in there.

If that doesn't work- frome the "HOME" screen, on the left side in the block, click where it says "FORUM" and log in there.

Thanks, Fencai. But unfortunately, no luck. :-( I had been logging in on the forums page, so I just tried from the home page. Same message as always:

Chayliana, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I seem to recall that this problem has happened before. When you're on the site, scroll all the way down and click 'Contact us'. This way you can inform the admin/moderators of the problem, on the general gmail address, so they can look into it.

bummer... I can't log in from lhc (.com) but I can get there if I go to the home screen. As well, for some reason, if I go to the home screen and then go through the forum link on the left side (not the one in the upper right corner) even though the pages look the same, I can log in there.

Unfortunately, clicking on "contact us" does nothing... the same page just sits there mocking me. I emailed over a week ago to 'tlhcstaff@gmail.com' but have receive no response so far. Will try again.

Yay, I'm in! Just got an email this morning that my account has been validated.
