flying by with a question (gotta work in ten)
I'm ordering a very large quantity of silk and unfortunately I can't order light and heavy silk this time around (the requirement for min. quantity is steep and I'm supposed to take vacation in the next month..)
I solved the problem of large half circles, I had them sewn with a tiny sleeve inserted in the side, there are no collars or flapping ties or anything else ..I tested them out and the sleeve sewn in does absolutely nothing to change the flow or workability of the fabric . Did this so that dancers could use them for double veil OR slip a rod in the sleeve and use them as wings for special occasions/events. (I'm a budget type person and like to buy one product with multiple uses/functions)
Here's the note I wrote about the large wings

With this in mind would there be a preference towards light silk or heavy silk? I'm imagining that they will be used more often as double veil with option to turn them into wings..I know dancers are pretty split down the middle some prefer light (I prefer light ) and some prefer heavy.
Cost is not going to be a big difference..about 10 dollars
Just wanted to get a feel for what would be more popular to dancers..in the future I'll have both kinds of silk available and on hand but for the initial order which do you prefer?
aloha thanks off to the office..
