Thread: I need some fake hair!

My hair is so short now! I'm used to having it all long and princess like and perfect. It's at my shoulders now. I'd like to get a long fake ponytail (or two), but I've never shopped for something like this. I don't have any options in this area (except maybe Sally's Beauty?), and I'm nervous about shopping for hair online. I'd like to be able to see the color and try it on you know? Any suggestions on vendors or brands?

You can get ponytail extensions on ebay for next to nothing, it's worth risking $6 or $7!

You can easily make your own (and sally's does have some ponytails, and lots of loose hair too)
you can make them with the loose hair and an old pair of nylon stockings. (only reason I save the ones with the runs in them!)
if you want to buy one, Ive always had great experiences buying from Doc Locks online.

Sometimes the malls have kiosks who sell hair pieces, banana clips and stuff. Or a community swapmeet---the large Orange County(California) Swapmeet has 2 hair vendors.

I have this ponytail in a few shades of brown at it is really pretty. Wavy and bouncy on one side, but if you turn it upside down its much straighter.
