Mabel is very cute, love her white splotched mouth, looks like a crooked bow.
Stifling an urge to dance is bad for your health - it rusts your spirit and your hips.

Re: belly cats & costumes
Love your pictures, nice to hear that you ladies also have help when you're trying to dance with veil or sew a costume

Here are my boys. Gideon is always helping me to sew, well at least he thinks he's helping...

While Pallo (in english his name means ball...) is helping me to unmake the bead.

I don't really know which one is better, but you just can't be mad at them

My cat loves zills, she comes running and often chatters in response when I practice. Admittedly, there are treats involved ;-)

Dang I wish I had taken a pic of when my dog Jasper put his dog toy in front of my sewing machine (which was on the floor at the time) as if to say, "stop sewing and spend time with me!!!"
I know it wouldn't be a cat pic but i thought it was cute :)

Re: belly cats & costumes
Thanks so much for starting this thread. May it continue forever!

I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love, with a pretty kitty!
Dang, I shall have to get me a kitty soon! Missing my dog so badly, but she just isn't a kitty. And it would be good to have one of each, don't you think?
Post some more, please ladies, for this deprived catophile?I'd like to give you some moral advice, but I have questionable morals.

OK, here is one more, of Kedi "helping" me during a costume design/sewing project, one of these times when you are desperate and pull out all potentially matching pieces of fabric and scatter them around the room, aka happy time for a cat ;-)

This is Trinket, "helping" me with a sewing project. More help than I know what to do with most times...LOL. I haven't tried a major sewing project since Blair kitten was added to the household, so no photos of her helping...yet :Psewing help.jpg
