Anyone heard of "ModaMoree" on EBAY?

There are a few vendors on eBay from Egypt that I've been looking at, that sell galabeyas and folkloric gear for very low prices. Has anyone ordered from these folks and could comment on teh quality? I'm buying for the stage so I need to buy multiple pieces. they have a lot available and it seems like most expedient way to get all the galabeyas I need for the show.

For that price it's worth it to order one just to give it a try. You couldn't make one for that price taking into consideration fabric and sewing time. Let us know how the sizing is if you do get one.

I've ordered one from a similar vendor; it was definitely light material, almost sheer, and apart from the sizing, could probably be just fine for the stage. Just don't expect them to last forever, and don't order them for anyone larger than a US 10-12!

Wow - this one comes with matching undies!

I got to love the descriptive text - "It's very sexy & attractive For beautiful womens."

    Indeed.

Nepenthe--I got the Angel Gabriel dress from ModaMoree last year. I thought it was a nice value for the money. Not quite good enough for a restaurant or nightclub but just fine for this kind of use, and for the price cheaper in terms of money and time spent than something you could do yourself. If I can remember, I'll bring the dress with me the next time I am going somewhere I will see you

imo the meleya is too sheer, because they are supposed to be an opaque modesty wrap, but stage gets some license. If its chiffon or georgette, I wouldn't though, cause it wont have the same weight or movement as a more authentic material.

I ordered a beledi dress for only $15 from ModaMoree. It arrived quickly and included a scarf and a pair of earrings. Here is a photo of me in the dress, I performed in it today. I used the scarf as a headband and added my own hip scarf and necklace. I love it!Red_beledi_sm.jpg:

I wanted to reply to my own post and say that the ModaMoree galabeyas were nice, but very short (only to my knees - I'm 5'8") - but they arrived quickly and look cute on the girls in the cast.

Also, the melaya leffs from the other company were gorgeous and perfect, far better than the melaya I bought myself in Egypt.

I got almost that exact one from Banknoteisland. It was fine. Nothing to write home about. I took the paillettes off of the sleeves since I was doing cane. They are just run stitched on so it was easy... also a flaw in that they would fall off easily if not reinforced. It served it's purpose. I did end up getting a body slimmer since it showed every lump and bump. But, overall, it was just fine for the money. I'd get another one. Hope this helps.
