    Using Kalo Hair Inhibitor

Have you tried Kalo hair inhibitor? I'm trying to decide if it may work or if it is a scam. I just started using an epilator, which I like, and wonder if using Kalo hair inhibitor in conjunction would be worth a try.

    Re: Using Kalo Hair Inhibitor

I haven't used Kalo, but it sounds a bit similar to Epilar.
EPILAR ® SYSTEM - Permanent enzyme-based hair reduction

I paid a good amount of money for several treatments over about a 6 month period. While getting the treatments I did notice an improvement. Waxing was easier and seemed to last longer. However, a few months of not using it and I'm pretty sure I'm back to square one.

This product was much too expensive to use indefinitley. I don't believe their claims that the results are permanent hair reduction.

While undergoing treatment with Epilar, I was encouraged to use this herbal inhibitor in between visits. This did nothing for me at all.

I'll be interested to see if anyone has had better results with Kalo.

If it is an affordable product it is maybe worth trying. I feel I lost a lot of money on the Epilar.

Just found this website saying herbal inhibitors are completely unproven.

Can't find much about the enzyme ones.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Epilar, Bijoux. I had not heard of this product. One big difference between Epilar and Kalo is that you can use Kalo at home and you have to apply it 3X a day for two days after epilation or waxing.

It's not exactly cheap. I just found that I can get a 4 oz. bottle for $25 including shipping if you like them on facebook. Probably more expensive for future purchases. There are mixed reviews. Some people say the 4 oz. bottle lasts 4 - 5 months, but they didn't say how often it was used and how much coverage. Even if its not permanent reduction and requires permanent use, it would be worth it if it works while you use it resulting in less epilation, which can also be done at home.

I hope we see a post from someone that has already tried Kalo. I'm leary of the other reviews I have seen so far. For $25, I may give a try anyway. The time investment is a bigger concern. 3X a day for two days after epilaton for several months before you see results...

    Re: Using Kalo Hair Inhibitor

I purchased a bottle of Kalo and decided to try it on a small body part. This way one bottle will last long enough to show me if it works over a long period of time as promised (with little effort). I'll try to remember to post again in 6 months.
