H.I.P. Kohl help
I've got 3 colors of L'Oreal's HIP Kohl; teal, burgundy and gold. If you haven't seen them, it's a powder and comes in a container with an wand applicator that you close the eye over and run to the side-yes, just like the real stuff!
I love the colors, the intensity, the application. What I don't love is that it runs and I look like a football player. Has anyone used this and figured out how to make it stay in place? I mostly apply on or close to the watermark-but I do use eye drops.

Re: H.I.P. Kohl help
I have three of them- I think- teal, burgendy, gold and black- nope I lied... four of them.
I HATE the applicator- only because if you put it in wrong- the little tip gets bent to the side- I think its if the material at the bottom gets out of line of the shape of the applicator.
But I really actually like the texture and the look- I went nuts when they were on sale at Target for like 2 bucks :D
As for it running- I don't have much running issues- I always use a primer though face and eye (seperate ones). I do wind up with a little smudge/blob just below where I tend to wing it- between my pending crows feet (GASP).
I haven't solved that problem yet- but I suspect your eyedrops are a culpret. :( Do you have a setting powder you use? In a pinch I use hair spray but I wouldn't recommend that as it's probably a really bad idea- I just use it as a light fix it when I'm afraid of runnage.Last edited by Basha; 10-17-2011 at 12:08 PM.

yeah if you use eye drops you're going to run into running issues.

Re: H.I.P. Kohl help
I wonder if it is the applicator - I like the real thing, but the H.I.P. version has a sponge on the end, and I think it holds too much kohl, so you might be getting too heavy an application. (Plus, it does bend after a few uses.)
I depotted mine into a little jar, and I apply it with a slanted brush (dip in kohl, blow off excess, place between closed lids and sweep to the outside, just like with a kohl stick) and I've had no problems with it running, even when I apply eyedrops. In fact, it's just about the only thing that WILL stay on my waterline and lower lashline.
