weird makeup question: stencils?
I want to use some stencils (which are really designed for decorating leather goods, but no matter) to put a few designs on my face for an upcoming event.
Problem is, I'm not sure what kind of makeup to use. I want a metallic gold/brass color, and considered Eye Kandy, but it seems like EK is not the right thing to pick for this situation. Anybody have a theatrical makeup suggestion?
Thanks!Vashti Silks is my silk dye blog

not theatrical per se, but the Eyecons Powder Bindis might be for you. (It's called bindis, but it's realy just a powder that you mix with a liquid and use any way you like.)

I would think something that goes on kind of creamy would work best with a stencil.

Re: weird makeup question: stencils?
I'd use metallic body make up, something like this
Metallic Powder .5oz
Quantity in Basket: none
$5.75 each
Comes in 4 colors: Gold, Silver, Copper & Bronze.
CLICK ON ITEM to choose your colors.
Ultra-fine Gold Metallic Powder allows you to create dramatic
designs or characters. Use dry or combine with Mixing Liquid to
form a water-based metallic liquid makeup. Mix only as needed
to insure freshness.

Re: weird makeup question: stencils?
I've used eye kandy and various other powders with stencils just fine- just mix with your favorite liquid/gel fixative. My favorite is actually hair gel- great staying power and it doesn't flake off. Sometimes I use my moisturizer and set it with a setting powder.
