I'm looking around for skirt options similar to that multi-layered look. Not exactly like it, but in the ballpark and not dated looking. Have you all seen anything like that lately?

I think Dahlal sells something similar..I love the layered look as well. Have you tried layering Arabesque skirts? Fabulous!!! I sometimes wear 3 at a time! Looks fabulous when you spin!

I still adore these even if they look dated. GP doesn't know any better. The key to finding a good petal skirt is the weight on the edges and trim..they spin better. I still have two skirts I won't ever part with..not sure who still sells them..a chinese seller on ebay I saw offers them for super cheap but not sure of the quality.

Lucy also sells some Skirts & Skirt Sashes. I don't think you can do much about the dated-looking part. Anything in full and/or layered chiffon is going to read "old" to some dancers, but so what? If it goes with the rest of the costume and the overall theme of the piece, and you've danced well, those are the important things, not whether you've slavishly adopted the latest look.
