    go on, date yourself!

Found some old photos this morning, I believe this was 2002. I was so happy with that Neckelmanns..wore it with a a we3 satin skirt, chiffon harem pants, black crocket sparklie gloves, the usual bindi..sure looks dated :) I remember having ISIS wings and feeling the awe of owning a pair. Second photo is the first Merkaba veil I ever made.

Anyone else wanna share their dated photos?

I'm not sure your costume would look all that dated to the GP--depends on how closely they're paying attention to trends, and many aren't. Other dancers can recognize that as a Neckelmanns, but it's a very pretty, traditional look. If you come back in twenty years and post that picture, younger dancers will probably think it's from the 1970s, you know, back when dancers wore bras and separate belts and chiffon harem pants under skirts, not when there was a short burst of interest in selling Brazilian-made costumes in the early days of Internet retailing. It's certainly not as big of an OMG-what-were-we-thinking? moment as those honkin' big, fringed epaulettes from the 1980s-90s.

LOL--I thought the thread was going to be about treating yourself to dinner and a movie if you were sitting home alone on Saturday night from the title...

!! That's what I originally thought, too - had to come see what qualities we should look for in ourselves!!
