The only difficulty I can see is you can't tell if these are seamed or not.

They appear to be seamless, based on the photo. I sent a message to them inquiring about that, hope they will get back to me. I would order a pair in spite of the shipping/exchange rate costs.

Well, I took the plunge and ordered a pair. With the exchange rate and shipping it came to $25.05, less than some body stockings. I really enjoy the seamless fishnet body stocking, so it's worth it.

I can't tell from the photo.. they're just showing the legs. Usually the seam runs down the belly, under the crotch, and up the back -- through the panty area, which isn't visible in the photo.

If they're seamless, I'd easily pay $25 though.

I contacted the suppliers and they confirmed that there the usual seam in the gusset running from front to back. When you get yours, could you say if they would work if you cut the legs off and turned the seams to the sides please? I suppose it depends how thick the seams are.

I contacted them, too, but they never replied. I am still waiting for my order to arrive. But what you suggest should work, it's just not as great as the seamless style.

O.K., these are only 10% lycra, 90% nylon, so not so girdle-like; however, they are seamless, come in 51 colors and plus sizes.

I finally received my order, the first parcel was lost in the mail but they replaced it for me at no charge. It does have seams in the crotch area, which means there will be side seams on the body stocking, but I plan to cover those seams with some sequins. I think it will look great.

I sent them an email asking about the panty. If it's a built-in panty, it wouldn't work for body stocking purposes.

That would be amazing... but I suspect they just haven't updated their site to reflect the new lower-spandex content of the Danskin Pro tights. Since Danskin has said they're not going to make them with the 32% spandex any more, I'm suspicious of anyone who says they're carrying them.

I know, we've had our hopes up so many times, only to be disappointed. But this came as a specific email stating that the professional Danskin tights are back. I emailed to ask about the appearance of the panty in the photo, and they answered already, saying there is no panty attached. They didn't specifically say there are no seams in the crotch area, though.

Really? If they're the original seamless Danskin tights, then there are no seams.....

ETA: I checked Danskin's site to see if they're making them again.. no mention of the lycra content on the 203s but check out the top review, from April 11: http://www.danskin.com/product/203/2...et-Tights.html
