Thread: Anybody have a Pharonix Flirty Flair II (DAHLAL calls it this)

Been Eying this design for a while... anyone have one and can tell me what the skirt is like. I am intrigued about all the ruffles down it. Can anyone post a pic for me :) Id like to see what the skirt is like :) Thanks!!!

Love it. HUGE audience pleaser. Kids always ask to touch it, they're intrigued by the ruffles. It is gorgeous. I have it in kelly green. I'm considering selling it, simply because the bra cups are a big big for me and even with padding don't seem to fit me right. :( I just haven't been able to post it yet because I love the skirt and belt so much.

The only thing I didn't like about it, was that the one back strap of the bra didn't have the white rhinestone band. You can see this in Dahlal's photos of it (and belly dance store's too) there was also a space on either side of the belt with the white rhinetsone trim at the top. It bothered me so much and bought trim and stitched it in lol. I also converted the bra straps to halter straps because I found it more flattering for my broad shoulders. This is easy to do and can be done (how I did it) so that it can convert back to originally bra strap style if wanted.

I wear it with another full skirt underneath versus the underskirt and shorts that comes with it. But that is just personal preference.

If you don't mind a suggestion on how to fix the bra, based on your picture, you're wearing it too low, either cut or sew the halter straps so that the bra is hiked up about a full inch, or inch and a half and you should be good.

Oh it's just pinned in those photos which are from this summer. I hadn't sewn the hooks yet. I had hiked it before dancing in it almost 2 inches. Unfortunately while it sits better the cups are still too big for me.

are you padding from the lower rim of the cup up? sort of building a shelf for the girls to sit on?

(sorry for thread hijack, I hate to see a loved costume be sold because of fit!)

the frame of the bra doesn't look like it's too big, so if you can get the padding issue straightened out...

I don't mind your opinion:) But it's just a personal thing. I just don't love how the bra looks on me. My mom agrees. My 34d friend tried it on and it looked better on her. I love the idea of it, but I'm not in love with it on me. If that makes sense. I find that is the thing about costumes at the end of the day, you can love it, but you have to love it ON YOU and feel comfortable and right in it. :)

Actually Kina, you just made me realize what I've been trying to deny to myself for awhile that, that pharaonics bras generally don't feel like they work on me:( Which is hard to face because it is absolutely one of my favourite costume lines. I love what she comes up with:(
