Thread: Jezabel this made me kind of laugh

I was riding in the car with my dad yesterday. He said did you see the show last night about mortuary's and how they get the body ready. i said no but i have scene something like it before its gross. I said i do not want to see someone like that. He said they make them look really nice i said yeah they have to put allot of makeup on them cause they drain all the blood out. I love doing make-up and then i had an idea! I told my dad i should do make -up at these homes and he said with a laugh yeah ! The lady will come in and be crying saying that my aunt looks like a Jezebel! my aunt was not a belly dancer. Then i made a weird face and laughed cause he said that. I said yeah everyone that comes in will have cat eyes and bright lips and fake lashes. It does not matter who they where when they get ready to be put in the ground they will have the face of a belly dancer. for extra i can dress them in costume too! "Jezebel interpretations, her dressing in finery and putting on makeup before her death led to the association of use of cosmetics with "painted women" or prostitutes."
I was reading on bhuz about dancers getting up set with peoples views of them selves the only view that matters is yours and what is in your heart. I am deciding not to get mad at peoples comments , there ignorance or there valid opinion. An opinion is like a butt h*** every one has one. At that moment i could have got made a my dad how dare you say that about me. and started a big fight. I know he was talking about the extreme make-up and it is true at least for me. My dad is taking me to dance class while my car is in the shop he watches my kids when i have to work. he is very supportive of me. I am not hear to be a lawyer to people about my job i am hear to dance!It brings joy to me and if it brings joy to others all the better. I feel when we have confidence in ourselves we do not need to defend our selves. How we carry our selves will also determine how we are treated. not always. But God says do not carry on conversations with fools because then you will be like them.

Sorry to be the killjoy to say this, but would you mind editing your post and separating it into paragraphs? It's painful trying to read a wall of text with no spacing whatsoever...

Sounds like a plan to me. If I had to get all made up and crap so people could stare at me while I'm dead, I might as well look FABULOUS.

(I've actually told my mom that there is to be NO viewing when I'm dead, and if she has to nail the lid closed to keep people from sneaking a peek, she should. BUT if there were one, hell yeah I'd better be blinged up to within an inch of my...um... death.)

I actually new a student dancer who did that. That was her "day" job, although she was on call all the time. She made a lot of money doing it.
