Thread: Show me your strappiest strappy costumes please!

Straps going every which way, straps lacing things up, straps barely holding things together. I want to see them. I need some inspiration for my next project in green.

This was a belt. Straps on the one side of the belt.

OK, the word "was" made me cringe. Please do not state the costume was reworked or no longer exists. Indeed lovely but I imagine it would be a bi+ch to alter.

Shadiah is the costume designer who made the lime green above. She is currently in the process of making a lime green and pink costume for another dancer. The belt is similar to mine in that it has straps on one side. However in this costume she took the strap idea to cover one cup of the bra, go over the shoulder than down across the back.

Pictures don't do justice to the shine of this costume.

Actually all of Shadiah's costumes are very easy to alter. When I gained weight she had to extend the bra and belt by several inches. As long as the cup fits right she can easily alter one of her costumes to go larger or smaller.

Hmmm...not straps but actually laced together...I saw this right after seeing your post, had to add it!

Not mine (I wish!)... I don't recall whose Bella this was in the swap meet a couple years ago, but I saved it to my "Costume Lust" folder because I love the strappy detail on the bra.

These costumes make me sooooo happy ^_^ Too bad I'm sooooo short, so I feel that all straps cut me at horrible angles >_< (yet I still try to find them in my size, haha!)
