    Mamdouh Salama costumes owners

I tried to resurrect an old thread but did not came back up.
Can we talk about the costume quality of Mamdouh Salama costumes?

It was mentioned before that they are hot glued (stones, what quality?) and not the highest quality, but nice designs and great bras. This been a year ago....so how are they now?
    Thank you ladies

    Hi Georgine!

I did own 1 official Mamdouh Salamah and 2 Oriental Moon which not sure the association as they are quite similar. My red Mamdouh was awesome. It did have the hotfix rhinestones but I repair things so it wasn't a big deal. Personally I think they feel comfy and look beautiful. The Oriental Moons have the hotfix as well, but all the big stones are sewn on as with the Mamdouh. The dina bras don't work well for some people, but they are great with me and are made sturdy.

Would I buy one again? Oh Absolutely!

If I recall they are the same thing. Oriental Moon is Mamdouh Salama.

I've had a few of the costumes and they are decent quality but things like glitter shedding off fabric and sequins falling off without much wear. I also don't care for the really thin bra straps, those are uncomfortable if you are a bigger busted gal. But for the price they are quite reasonable, fit nicely, and are unique.

yes, that's the one I was talking about, lots of helpful info. I was just wondering if this is still the same regarding costumes, and so far it look like it is.

All of Mamdouh bras are constructed with the double strap in the back?

Most of his costumes have the double strap at the back. I own a dress of his which has a single strap but it is a very unique dress and the only one of that style in his atelier

I have about 4 of his costumes. A couple of the earlier ones have a bit of hot glue visible (but only noticable up close) but fingers crossed none have shedded and I have a costume which is covered in glue-gunned stones! His recent work though seems to have significantly improved in the quality of the finish.

I love the inventive designs, he is very cutting edge and when I wear his costumes they always get more positive attention than any of the other costumes i own.

One issue is I think he caters better to the larger busted lady...Im small busted and have had to alter all the bras for them to work without gapping, even the made to measure.

Nearly all of my costumes are his.

In truth, if you at his place and you sort yourself a costume then most of the time it will be great.. orders are another matter.

Orders sent to you without you seeing them first very rarely work out.. I ordered a number of costumes during the Eid for myself and a few others, none of them were right.

I am going again in March and when I do it in person and sort orders out then I could not be happier.. he is definately one of the best in terms of designs and cheaper than most.

His bra's are amazing for me and fit perfectly when fitted by him... one of his bra's had me blazoned all over the media in the UK and Middle East! lol
