Thread: Question for those who use belly covers

What do you do to keep your skirt from shifting or slipping? I was thinking of adding some hooks to keep the skirt in place but wasn't sure if this is the best thing to use.

I've used hooks on the skirt, I've also pinned through the bodystocking from the inside.

Depending on the fabric of the belly cover, and how flexible you need it to be (Are you going to wear it with multiple costumes with different shaped belts?), you could use snaps. I suppose there are some costumes where you could use crocheted loops and flat buttons, too.

For years I didn't have a problem with just pinning, but after an experience a couple of weeks ago with a slippery stocking and a slippery skirt, I'm going to start installing hooks on the insides of my belts. The northward migration was very distracting!
