Thread: Seeing stars! Show me your star, sun and moon costumes

Looking for inspiration for a star-themed costume....what have you got to inspire me?

This is a Tidal Beauty by Hoda. I think of it as being more starfish and water-themed than celestial-themed, but maybe it's helpful:

Made this B&B a while back.. Looks much prettier on.. I wanted it to look golden era-esque

Not sun, moon and stars, but stars and stripes. I had this costume designed immediately after 9/11. Sold it to Azziza. I think it looks better on her than it ever did on me.

love all the fabric choices to go with the motifs! reminds me of galaxies...I have a silver holographic Akhet mermaid skirt from Dahlal that I just bought armbands for that will give it some of that space-age look (which I'm planning to alternate out with a purple velvet mermaid skirt). The main belt/bedlah will be in purple velvet, but I think I need to find some galaxy-like accent fabric now

I'm actually going to be posting this one with my spring cleaning stuff. I love it, but I'm just not going to be able to wear it for quite some time while I'm recovering from my second pregnancy :) Let me know if you're interested!
