I finally dabbled into making my own circle skirts and for the several times I tried rolling over the top to make its own elastic casing. IT WAS HORRIBLE. So I gave up. Then I looked at her site again and followed the instructions for the bias tape method (which I should have done in the first place). Hot d*** was that easy and miraculous. It looks clean and nice and even saved on an inch of fabric.

So yeah...it's so simple but I just wanted to say thank you for having an amazing website and giving out such helpful information. Has Shira rescued you from sewing mistakes?

I've been using Shira's circle skirt pattern for years. Love the bias tape waistband and use it all the time. Anytime I hear of someone trying to figure out circle skirt patterns, I direct them to Shira's web site which is so informative on a variety of topics. Love her.
