Thread: Source for Workhorse Budget Bedlahs

Hi all.

I'm on the hunt for a go-to bedlah. Where can I find a decently constructed gold bedlah that won't bust the bank? I'm keeping an eye on the swapmeet, but I'm a larger size and most of the costumes are a little too small....

(those Beyond the Basics sets are true workhorses. I don't think the American Icon ones are as durable)


Both sellers often have sets that aren't on the website - lots of things don't get photographed & put on the site right away, or ever... So when you're ready to buy & know what you want, it's a good idea to e-mail or call and see if they have anything on hand in your size.

King of the Nile is also known for durable workhorse bedlahs, and will do custom work for no extra charge.

Basic Gold Bedlah

I second bellydancestore.com. I got my silver one from them and it was reasonably priced and fits me (I am also in the larger category). I also heard they do custom ordering, they don't have info on it yet on their site but they said something about it in an email. I haven't checked it out yet, but will do once I need to get a new bedleh.
