Thread: Who coined the joke, "Just one more...."?

Every once in a while here on bhuz, when the question arises of "How many costumes does a belly dancer need?" someone jokes, "Just one more!" I know I've also seen this in someone's signature line, but I forget whose.

So which of you lovely ladies claims credit for being the one who coined this clever bit of humor?

I remember that being on somebody's sig line, too... was it Amartia (bhuzzer latriamou) maybe?

I heard it years ago, before I was ever on Bhuz...

I suspect it was born in some other dance or even hobby form. After all, "just one more" could be applied to anything from doll collections to delicious cakes!

Because she heard there were costumes for sale on the other side!

LOL my teacher used to say you could set a trap for bellydancers by digging a large pit, covering it with carpet and placing sparkly things on the other side!

All Belly Dancers are Magpies...

I actually heard the phrase about women and shoes long before i heard it about belly dancers and costumes.

Just curious whether you spontaneously thought of it on your own, or whether you saw it on my site and remembered it. I realize people often spontaneously think of the same idea, just wondering which it was in this case!

WOW, I did see that on your page about 2 years ago... I didn't remember seeing all those jokes until I clicked your link!

I guess that joke stuck with me, well... because I happen to be a costumeaholic!
