Thread: Want a tattoo on my leg

Hi everyone! So, I want to get a tattoo on my lower leg, on the side of my calf. I am having a difficult time deciding which leg? Right now I only have one other tattoo. It's on my lower left side/back. But I have plans for more that will go up my back to my right shoulder.

So how does one decide which leg to do?

Should I do my right leg since I tend to favor my right side when dancing. Or do my left leg because I favor my right side. LOL Am I over thinking this?

I will have this forever so I just want to make sure I make the right choice. My husband says to make sure I don't look lopsided with tattoos.

Any thoughts?

I guess it depends on whether you want it to show most of the time or not, I find most of my costumes have a slit over the left leg if only on one side.

I have my dogs paw prints on my right calf, and I like the option of being able to hide it or show it whenever I want!

Yeah, most costumes have a slit over the left leg. I guess it would be ok to show. It will be pretty and feminine. I don't do restaurant work anymore so I don't really have to worry about that. For the parties and weddings I do if it's something I'd be worried about I would wear a costume that would cover it.

Mine is on my right ankle. I wanted to be able to hide it, although it's pretty small. BUT also it covers a scar that I've had on my outside ankle since I was 7.
