Thread: Making your own Egyptian fringe: DIY tutorial with instructions & photos

About a year ago, I asked for advice about estimating how many beads you need to make your own Egyptian fringe. Thanks to everyone for their sage advice.




I finally finished the project, and made a blog post with step-by-step instructions and photo illustrations based on my experience! I hope that this proves useful to the DIY costumers out there, and prevents some of the trial and error I went through :)

Uhhh...

could you add a picture of this:

Start your next chain stitch; before wrapping the thread around the needle and pulling it through the loop, drape the folded bead strand over the thread, taking care to make sure it’s even. Once the strand is placed, draw the crochet hook through the thread loop.

I'm really having a hard time picturing it!
