Thread: Ordered my first costume from L Rose!

I love it! It's a slit trumpet skirt, gauntlets and headband out of emerald nylon lycra and a banded bra and sash out of the emerald holo. I am thinking about adding a brooch to the center of the bra just to add a little bling (and to match my other accessories) but I think that's it. And I plan to wear the sash the way I have it rigged up in the picture instead of just letting the fringe hang on one side. Please forgive the crappy photo quality

The material is very comfortable...more comfy than I anticipated. My skirt also has the booty band, and I ordered it a little big because I didn't want it to fit skin tight. I think a super deluxe in the lycra would be fabulous!

A booty band makes the skirt slightly longer in the back. Because I have ample junk in the trunk, sometimes my skirts are hiked up in the back (they appear to be higher in the back than in the front). The booty band remedies this.

hm. how is it placed? or rather, where on the skirt? I usually wind up rolling the front band of the skirt over to shorten it, and order the length to accommodate the length discrepancy. and is that how you ordered it? I mean, how did you specify wanting that feature in the skirt?

hope you don't mind all these questions, I didn't think there was a solution to this! I have about 10 of these skirts, all ordered long to accommodate this :-)

It's my impression it's a little bit like a fold over on yoga pants- only instead of a "fold" it's just a really wide band- so intead of rolling on itself- or slouching down (for those of us with bigger booootaaaaay's) it has more STAY power. and I personally think they look nice. Its 2" extra waist band. you can see they list in on their site
