Thread: shoot me now

I ordered a new costume from dahlal in early january, and to 'keep it off the books' (as in, hide the new costume purchase from hubby! they don't need to know about these things, right?) I got a money order (used cash) from the post office for my deposit and mailed that in. finally got around to calling the other day to be sure they got the check - AND THEY DIDN'T. so of course they didn't place the order yet. WORSE: I can't find that stupid slip that was the receipt from the post office! I have no idea if they'll be able to look it up if I give them the approximate date and amount of the check... crossing my fingers!

I don't know what's killing me more - the three week delay in the costume order, or possibly being out $180. and I ended up putting the deposit on the cc anyhow, just to get it moving. UGH!!!

at least my new hallah will be here in march. :)

Do you think this happened because you were trying to be sneaky about ordering a new costume and not letting your husband know about it? Maybe your husband sabatoged your plans ..l;, ..l;, ..l;, .

Seriously though, I'm very sorry this happened. Hopefully, you will be able to trace the money order or you might find the receipt floating around your home.

I have faith that everything will work out .

Luckily it was only the deposit and not the the full purchase amount!
