incoco dry nail appliques are awesome!
I have to write and rave about this product! they are nail polish "stickers" that you apply to your nails. I knew that avon made nail polish decals, but I don't know anybody who sells avon and I really would rather go get them myself at a drugstore.
why I love them: I have very thin, weak nails. when I get a regular manicure, it usually makes it through the first day, but by the second I'll have some chips or peeling from my nails bending and cracking the polish. plus, I have two little kids and a house to run - daily life that is hard on a manicure no matter how great your nails are. also with the kids, it's hard to find time to get my nails done, or if I do them myself I have to do it at night after they're in bed so everything has time to dry. so I can almost never get/do a manicure the same day as a show, and after all the trouble they only look good for two days at best.
with the incoco strips, you don't necessarily save time, in that you do need to buff your nails and push back your cuticles and make sure your nails are nice and smooth before you put them on. but once they're on, bam, done. no dry time, you're ready to go. no worries about smudging or gouging while you're waiting for them to dry. they're very easy to apply - if you don't touch them down perfectly, you can peel them up and try again until you get it just right. and, the rounded part that goes at the base of your nail is perfect and smooth and looks very professional. but the best part - they last!! I did my nails 6 days ago, and they still look presentable enough to wear to a gig! I chipped some edges the day after I put them on because I had to do some serious pot scrubbing and didn't have any gloves, but that's to be expected. they haven't peeled at all and the color is rich and strong and even. with regular polish, my nails would have been completely trashed by day 3.
other awesome things about them: they come in a pack with 20 decals (you may be able to get two full manicures if the sizes line up with your nail shapes ok), a polish remover pad, a cuticle stick and a mini nail buffer to make your nails smooth. all for about $5. they didn't come in a lot of colors, but they have what you need - a great red, several pale tones, and some modern very dark tones. the pack is small and portable - great to toss in your dance bag or makeup case.
I found mine at walgreens after searching for them online. :)

Thanks for the review! I saw these at Walgreens and have been thinking about trying them. I have teenie tiny baby sized nails though. Do the sizes work for itty bitty nail beds?

Wow, thanks I saw those too and wasn't sure what to think...Do you think if you put top coat on top of them that they would last even longer?

stardancer - the smallest ones were narrower than my average pinkie nails. you could try out a set but you wouldn't be able to get two manicures out if it. OR, you could probably trim the decals pretty easily!
nikki - I really don't think you'd need a top coat to keep them longer. there's something about the fact that it's all one layer together that clings tightly to your nail, I think, that makes it wear so well *she typed, pausing to admire her still-nice-looking nails*. but of course you could try it, why not? have you ever used seche vite top coat? it's awesome. paint your nails, go to bed! they set that quickly.

Oooo... These sound perfect for me! I'm so hard on nail polish. Plus, I just looked at my local Walgreens flyer and they're on SALE(33% off). Can't beat that. I'm headed to pick up some now.

I have used the Avon ones for toes for a year now and I can't say enough great things about this style of polish! My hubby loves that there is no smell when we are sitting in bed watchin t.v. and I am "painting" my toes. LOL

Re: incoco dry nail appliques are awesome!
The man of my life brought me back two Incoco Nails kits a couples of months ago (they are not avalable in Canada, Bump!). But I didn't find time to try then on... until yesterday!
I thought they would be tricky to apply, but not at all. Was easy and fast. Like the result. I am testing them this week.
I'll give you and update in a few days.
Hug!

6 days later, my nails still look good no ship no nothing. This afternoon, I put a topcoat of clear nail polish over them.
But I do always wear rubber gloves when I wash dishes or when I have to scrub some dirt...
Incoco appliques made my week!
