Thread: Sahar bra: So Ni'mah, what was the verdict?

Were you able to figure out how to make your gorgeous pink Sahar bra fit? I'm curious in part because...well...I just ordered a similar costume from The BellydanceStore (oohhhh I don't know if I should have done this...) and I'm worried about whether it'll work...esp. given that, you know, I have a similarly small rib cage. :-) Of course, I'm also worried about whether the top will be just too long on me too...I guess we'll have to see. Oh well. Here's mine:

The outsides of the cups have some flexibility- on this style if you adjust the back strap quite snug it will pull the sides of the bra in to you.

I hope so...but I'm also a little worried about how it will work top-to-bottom...I'm just soooooo comically short from the collar bone to the under-bust line, and really short in the rise (2"--seriously) So, I'm a tad worried the halter is going to wrap around my neck three times and that the heart will jab jab me in the tummy fat while the crotch of the panties hangs halfway down my thighs ..l;, ..l;, ..l;, (My poor seamstress friend...I showed her the pix and she said "well...we'll see what it looks like on you when it gets here." Even she has finally conceded I'm kind of a circus freak--fortunately, she's just really good at helping dress me to hide it. ..l;,)

Oh well, either it'll work or it won't. On the upside, if it doesn't, I'll be able to tell all of you gals how beautiful it is in person and what type of body/proportion it will fit great on. I'm usually really good at finding costumes for OTHER people.
