Thread: Starting my first real class soon

So I just signed up for my first real class and I am starting to freak out a bit.

I would love to hear from the plus size dancers about how they dealt with their possible insecurities about their weight. I know, I know.....I am beautiful no matter what and all that but I can't help feeling a little nervous about dancing in front of others at my current weight. I have taken about 35 pounds off at this point but it is definitely not where I wanted to be before a class. I always feel beautiful when I dance at home and forget about my weight but I just don't think that I will be able to "forget" in a class full of people.

( I do except things said just to make me feel better) but I would love to hear from those who have a weight issue as well. Thanks!
