I'd like propose a couple of abbreviations for a common condition among Bhuzzers: SWB = Shopping While Broke. Which leads to joining BSMA = Bhuz Swap Meet Anonymous.

There was a thread when I first started - only a couple of years ago - that was about Costume Addicts Anonymous. We realized that we were helpless in the face of shiny objects. We should start a new one, still so relevant! Hi - I'm Shoshanna Qamar . . . and i . . .am . . . a costume addict. (Crowd: "Hi Shoshanna!)

Oh, no! I've just joined Bhuz and I'm already part of BSMA?

There are a stack of posts that have odd little combinations of punctuation, like
    ...l;...l;...

    What do they mean?

I think it happens when someone tries to use one of the icons (laugh, laugh, laugh) seen on the right of the writing field and somehow they don't quite register.

How about a thread that explains the outfits? For example, what is a bedlah, a mumtaz, a sim, a pharoanic, a bella... etc.

I've managed to work out some of them, but there are heaps that are unknown.

A whole new thread for us newbies, with pictures too, for drool purposes for old and new?

In this context a bedlah is a bra / belt set, as opposed to a dress or bra / skirt costume. The other four are all costume designer names. Mumtaz and Pharaonics are Egyptian design houses. Sim and Bella are Turkish. Hope that helps!
