Thread: Post your business on our New Teacher and Performer Listings!!

Are your a teacher or performer? We have an excellent new, searchable listing system for you. And it's FREE ..g.: and easy to use.

Just go to Quick Links in the nav bar above. Click on the arrow and click on Forms.
Then fill out the form of your choice, or both, and your listing will automatically be put into the new Forum. You can then go to your listing, edit it, add pictures and video. It's very simple!

The forums are easily searched by going to the searchbox for that forum and putting in any keyword.

Tell your belly dance friends about it. When we get a large number of listings we will start to advertise it in the search engines and hope to bring you more business!
We need lots of quality listings to make that worth while, so pitch in!

umm, perhaps I am missing something, but I don't see a Forms listed under Quick Links, just threads and contacts.

Hi Rosey,

I don't see the option for forms under Quick Links. Mine only shows Subscribed Threads, Open Contacts Popup, and Who's Online.

Is this something that will be active later?

This is a really nice resource. Do you have recommended file sizes/dimensions for videos and images?

PS, there may be a glitch on the performer form. I filled it out and then it just tried to submit "/" as my entry

Ugh!..c:: ..cr.:..cr.: There is a bug in it somewhere, I am working on it. It may take a day or so to get it right.

The Teacher form is working, the Performer form isnt' at the moment.

I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE FORM BIG TIME!!!!
it has your street address as a required field....i have not printed that in 40 years.MY STUDIO AND OFFICE ARE IN MY HOME. i screen all before they attend. i see 50 clients a week from this proces. i CANT be the only one with a non public studio that finds this an issue!!!!!! YOU CAN NOT hang a sing in this town that says ANYTHING about me dance ..period!

Fill it in with xxxx then, if it bothers you.

It's one thing to suggest changes, but it's really rude to SHOUT, especially when you're FINDING FAULT with a FREE SERVICE.

so so sorry. no one knows what we are going through on our end when posting...it just seemd to blend into another frustration.....and i felt discriminated against...i know there are others who have in home studios...i was taught in one too....so, xxx will work on this soft wear?..cool!

Or you could put something like "Please contact me at *insert contact info here* for studio location and hours" if you don't want to put an address in.

If you go to attachment manager, or scroll down to the manage attachments link when you make a new post, you will see a tiny blue circle with a question mark in the top right corner. Click on it and you will see all the file sizes.

I sympathize with you, Zamora. We here at BHUZ appreciate the efforts of every member.

You can edit your post after it appears in the Teachers section. Just take out the xxxx, or whatever you put in, and it will look pretty again.

Instead of filling out a form, I just started a new thread on the find a teacher page. I don't know if this was the wrong thing to do, but I did it before I read to do a form. Maybe you could just start a new thread too Zamora?

I posted an issue in Bug tracker thread -
the error I get after clicking my (bolded) link is:
Firefox can't find the server at www.<b>http.com.

evidently the <b> that is in the form itself is messing up the link -

Well I edited my post/listing myself and fixed it, but it seems it would be a good idea to fix the Form itself for future users! the Form puts the Bold in the wrong place & messes up the hyperlink.
