Thread: Please beware of hackers

Hi everyone!
I've been away from Bhuz for a while. I logged into the site a few days ago and noticed that someone had hijacked my profile and completed a fake bio under my information. I just wanted to let everyone know this was happening.

Unless it was outright offensive material, I don't think it was a hacker. Several of us have had someone else's profile due to the new Bhuz upgrade.

I'm not sure if it's hackers or bhuz, but one of my students told me the same thing, that her profile info was all wrong -

My profile, friends list, and all my pics (many of which I no longer have due to stolen computer).

I'm sad over it...

While everyone should ALWAYS beware of hackers, this is almost certainly a bhug from the time of the Upgrade. Not all the information imported correctly, and quite a few people ended up with someone else's profile information. So you should be able to change it to how you want it to be, without too much difficulty. If you do have a problem with trying to change it then contact Rosey.
