I like anything that's melodic and soulful feeling.... it usually ends up as a fusion of some kind - I really like some of David Arkenstone's celtic music when it has an underlying arabic beat.

My favorites are when modern orchestras revisit an old favorite like Zay el Hawa or Aziza. I love real instruments and lots of accents.

I also loves me a good juicy balady :)

Lately I am loving George Abdo music. :) Pick me, Rosey, LOL!

Classical Egytian is my favorite.

I find myself dancing to rock or techno remixes to video game music lately. Ok, that's mostly when I'm drilling... but it's super fun.

Live music, and odd rhythm signatures: 9/8, 7/8!!

I prefer Egyptian Orchestral renditions of classics as well as Saidi

Love Egyptian, both classical and modern.

My favorite music to perform to is classical Egyptian music (not necessarily the classics, just instrumentals in general, but I love the classics as well). Some of my favorites are Al Ahram Orchestra and Cairo Orchestra.
I also love performing to Lebanese pop music with a strong dabke flavor, like stuff by Fares Karam. It's really nice to throw in some dabke steps and get the audience up and moving!

I have a huge thing for the song El Hantour at the moment, but I love anything like egyptian pop and can't sit still listening to saiidi.

I am with many of the others in saying live music is the best but otherwise I frequent Ayoub beats, a classical Egyptian pieces, Turkish or Lebanese music.

Music that makes others want to get up and dance.

I'd enjoy an ALL-ACOUSTIC Arabic orchestra, somewhere between 5 and 20 pieces, playing some highbrow classics and a beledi in there too.

I fluctuate between classical Egyptian and up beat Egyptian modern pop.(Ok with a hint of techno-guilty) Any music that really "speaks" to me.
