Thread: URL is all you need to post a video

Finally, at last, I got the video thing figured out, yet again.

We had a very nice system in previous years where you could just put in the URL of any video, from pretty much any source, not just youtube, and it appeared live in the post.
The system got broken during a routine upgrade, but I found the fix and it's back working now!

So all you need to do, anywhere on the site, including blogs, etc. is just write the URL of your video. No need to click the Insert Video icon or use any HTML or BB code.

Previously posted videos won't automatically convert, you will still see some links, not the video itself, in posts from last year.
