Oh --it's the Floating Hotel dancers! I saw a dvd or video of these dancers about a year or so ago. I remember liking some of the performances, but I can't remember which ones.

I don't know who the dancers are or where the video is from. My mental name is the "Floating Hotel dancers" because they were filmed against a bluescreen (or green screen) and the new background appears to be promo shots for a hotel or resort. The dancers appear to be floating in space (the point of view of a photographer/filmmaker, the perspective is very very bad). If I ever have one of those artsy parties in a loft, I want this video projected on a wall (with a different soundtrack, just because).

No idea who they are but the look and style (notwithstanding the bit of Egyptoid cane dancing in the second one) has a very Turkish flavor to me.

I think it's Turkish. I've always wanted to stay in a Floating Hotel! ..l;,

I have another one of those posted to my YouTube page, I got it off of music-axis.com or iwebu.com. The trick is finding it on that maze of a channel I have there. When I do I'll post it in this thread.

well it takes guts to do cane on the edge of a huge spiraling stairway like that..w.:
my fear of heights prevents me from pullings stunts like that.


the first dancer doesnt look turkish, but i have that music on a cd i bought in Turkey.

it doesnt beat the amazing Tulay Karaca dancing on the water of the Boshporous, so frustrating that half the video footage i have of her is made with those distracting ( well for some it seems to =cool) backgrounds.

She looks very Russian and moves her arms in a very Russian manner.

These backgrounds are distracting, but I've seen worse, such as the one of Pinar Elice. I'll have to link to that one.

Funny I never caught on to the blue screen with my video when you can see it right through her veil! The same with the first video posted in this thread. Boy, do I ever have egg on my face! I commented on her lovely irridescent veil, how in some places it takes on a bluish cast and not in others, when it was the blue screen showing through all along!
